About Weave Design Studio

Weave Design Studio is a free online point-paper tool for textile students and fabric designers by Muhammad Rizwan Zubair. Draw a weave on the grid, or start from a ready-made plain weave, twill, satin or sateen, basket (hopsack), rib, herringbone, pointed (zigzag) twill or random weave, and the studio works out the threading draft, tie-up, treadling and lifting plan, with a drawdown and fabric preview.

You can resize the repeat, mirror edits for symmetric designs, keep designs in a library, export them as WIF, JSON or text, save the draft or the fabric as a PNG image, and print the current view.
